In this interactive 4 contact hour course the following topics with be discussed; the epidemiology, incidence, and prevalence of MS, the etiology and pathophysiology of MS, the four disease classifications, the 10 symptoms commonly experienced by persons with MS, how to explain to patients the diagnostic tests used to establish a diagnosis of MS, and how to teach patients and family factors associated with more favorable and less favorable prognoses in MS.
