Course overview

Evidenced-based practice is an integration of best research evidence, clinical expertise, and patient values. Unique preferences and experiences of each patient must be integrated into clinical decisions for the best possible outcomes. This course guides therapists to develop evidenced-based practices on therapeutic modalities including heat and cold, infrared, low level laser, and ultrasound, TENS, IFC, and Iontophoresis, and high volt and NMES. The goal is to increase a therapists confidence in choosing the most appropriate therapeutic modality for a given pathology. Jon thoroughly discusses application protocols for therapeutic modalities as they relate to specific pathologies.
