Orthopedic Manual Therapy has evolved in the last decade and now incorporates a variety of soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques. This contemporary approach includes pain science education and is grounded in the most recent research that suggests that a multi-modal approach based on the bio-psycho-social model is most effective in obtaining the best possible health outcomes. This course covers a wide array of topics like Pain Science Education, the BPS model, the benefits of Cupping and IASTM, Treatment Based Classification, the reasons to consider joint mobilizations in treatment plans, and progressive exercise therapy including the use of weight training. This course also features many video demonstrations of these evaluation and treatment techniques. This course is appropriate for therapists and athletic trainers that want to enhance their manual therapy skills to help patients with low back pain disorders.
