Course overview
In a recent study on knee exams, out of 900 patients surveyed, only 63% of the patients had their knees exposed for the exam. Only 37% of health professionals that had referred the patient actually touched the uninvolved knee. That does not inspire much confidence in the direction we, as therapists, receive on the script. How can we do a better and more thorough Knee Exam? Darla Baker, PT, DPT, ATC/L with the Shelbourne Knee Center, will help you master the "The Art of the Knee Exam". This course will cover all points of the knee exam from: -History -Observation -Physical Examination -Special Tests/Radiographic Findings -Differential Diagnosis -Rehabilitation The Shelbourne Knee Center continues this series with three other audio/video courses: ACL Treatment & Rehab and Non-Opioid Pain Control for Knee Surgery - Course 2 Treatment of the Arthritic Knee: First Office Visit to Last Post Op Visit - Course 3 Management of Uncommon Knee Injuries and Patellofemoral Assessment - Course 4
