According to recent statistics, there are approximately 250,000 ACL tears per year. Most of these tears are repaired with surgery. Are we using outdated protocols? What is the value of an Accelerated Rehab? Also, how common is it post-surgically for pain control to be an issue. What about the current opioid crisis? Is there a better pain management alternative for our ACL patients? Laura Bray-Prescott, PT, LATC, ATC with the Shelbourne Knee Center discusses these questions and more.
