DYSPHONIA OCCURS WHEN THERE IS AN ALTERATION IN NORMAL VOICE QUALITY WHICH CAN DUE TO STRUCTURAL AND/OR FUNCTIONAL CAUSES. DYSPHONIA IS COMMON AND CAN DEVELOP AT ANY AGE. THIS ACTIVITY REVIEWS THE EVALUATION AND UNDERLYING ETIOLOGIES OF DYSPHONIA AND HIGHLIGHTS THE ROLE OF THE INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM IN THE PROCESS OF EVALUATING AND TREATING PATIENTS WITH DYSPHONIA.
