INTERSTITIAL LUNG DISEASE (DIFFUSED PARENCHYMAL DISEASES) ARE A HETEROGENEOUS GROUP OF DISORDERS CHARACTERIZED BY FIBROSIS (SCARRING) OF THE LUNGS.
