HEPATORENAL SYNDROME (HRS) IS A MULTIORGAN CONDITION OF ACUTE KIDNEY INJURY SEEN IN THOSE WITH ADVANCED LIVER DISEASE. PATIENTS WITH THIS CONDITION PRESENT WITH SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF LIVER FAILURE AS WELL AS DECREASED URINATION AS THEY BECOME OLIGURIC. THIS ACTIVITY REVIEWS THE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF HEPATORENAL SYNDROME AND EXPLAINS THE ROLE OF THE INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM IN IMPROVING CARE FOR PATIENTS WITH THIS CONDITION.
