CHEST TRAUMA HAS QUICKLY RISEN THE SECOND MOST COMMON TRAUMATIC INJURY IN NON-INTENTIONAL TRAUMA. TRAUMA TO THE CHEST COMES WITH THE HIGHEST MORTALITY; IN SOME STUDIES, UP TO 60%.
