ALBENDAZOLE IS ALSO APPROVED FOR THE TREATMENT OF PARENCHYMAL NEUROCYSTICERCOSIS DUE TO ACTIVE LESIONS CAUSED BY LARVAL FORMS OF THE PORK TAPEWORM, TAENIA SOLIUM. THIS ACTIVITY WILL DISCUSS THE ROLE OF THE INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM IN THE USE OF THIS MEDICATION.
