CONVERSION DISORDER IS A PSYCHIATRIC DISORDER CHARACTERIZED BY SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS AFFECTING SENSORY OR MOTOR FUNCTION THAT ARE INCONSISTENT WITH PATTERNS OF KNOWN NEUROLOGIC DISEASES OR OTHER MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT THE PATIENT’S ABILITY TO FUNCTION.
