BALINT SYNDROME, SOMETIMES ALSO REFERRED TO AS BALINT-HOLMES SYNDROME, IS DESCRIBED AS A TRIAD OF OPTIC ATAXIA, OCULOMOTOR APRAXIA, AND SIMULTAGNOSIA. IT IS A RARE AND DISABLING CONDITION USUALLY SEEN WITH BILATERAL PARIETAL LOBE LESIONS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ACTIVITY IS TO PROVIDE A BRIEF HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE OF BALINT SYNDROME, GIVE A REVIEW OF ETIOLOGY, EPIDEMIOLOGY, AND CLINICAL FEATURES, AND DISCUSS THE ROLE OF HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS IN THE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT.
