GOUT WAS FIRST RECOGNIZED EVEN BEFORE THE COMMON ERA. HENCE IT IS ARGUABLY THE MOST UNDERSTOOD AND MANAGEABLE DISEASE AMONGST THE OTHER RHEUMATIC DISEASES. THIS ACTIVITY REVIEWS THE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF GOUT AND HIGHLIGHTS THE ROLE OF INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM MEMBERS IN COLLABORATING TO PROVIDE WELL-COORDINATED CARE AND ENHANCE PATIENT OUTCOMES.
