PRIMARY AMENORRHEA IS DEFINED AS THE FAILURE OF INITIATION OF MENSES BY AGE 14 IN THE ABSENCE OF SECONDARY SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS OR THE ABSENCE OF MENARCHE BY AGE 16 REGARDLESS OF THE PRESENCE OF NORMAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF SECONDARY SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS. THIS ACTIVITY DESCRIBES THE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF PRIMARY AMENORRHEA AND REVIEWS THE ROLE OF THE INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM IN IMPROVING CARE FOR PATIENTS WITH THIS CONDITION.
