IN THE PAST, DIVERTICULITIS WAS TREATED SURGICALLY, HOWEVER IT IS NOW A MEDICALLY-MANAGED ENTITY, EVEN IN ITS MOST ACUTE PHASE. THIS ACTIVITY REVIEWS THE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF DIVERTICULITIS AND HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPORTANCE OF A WELL-COORDINATED INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM IN CARING FOR PATIENTS WITH THIS CONDITION
