Course overview

Florida ranks third in the United States for the most reported cases of human trafficking, according to the National Human Trafficking Hotline. Because of the prevalence of human trafficking and the state's commitment to end it, Florida law requires nurses, health care workers, and other professionally mandated reporters to report suspected child and vulnerable adult victims of human trafficking to the state's central abuse hotline.. By taking this course, you will learn to identify human trafficking, follow guidelines for what to report, and understand how to resource and support survivors.
