Course overview

The purpose of this course is to comply with a Florida Board of Nursing rule that states; "Beginning with the biennium ending in 2015, each licensee shall complete a two-hour course on the laws and rules that govern the practice of nursing in Florida." These laws and rules include scope of practice of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, as well as advanced practice registered nurses. In addition, this course will cover continuing education requirements, CE Broker reporting, and disciplinary action against nurses' licenses, with actual cases provided.
