Course overview

The EIM Gua sha Certified Practitioner Course is a comprehensive course aimed at equipping the practitioner with all the necessary knowledge and skills to treat people safely and effectively with Gua sha. It is the initial certificate for anyone treating with Gua sha and is the foundation course of the whole Ecological Gua sha program. It consists of 10 modules to cover every aspect of treating with Gua sha from the ecological theories of therapeutic action, the practicalities of choosing equipment, learning how to use them and how to disinfect them properly, when to use Gua sha and when not to use Gua sha, how to enhance results and take advantage of tried-and-tested clinical tips, how to use the Chinese vessel system to your advantage, and how to treat the head, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, hands, fingers, upper back, lower back, legs, feet and toes. Essentially it covers all the basics of Gua sha and more, to ensure that the practitioner is competent, safe and confident in treating anyone with Gua sha.
