Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediation Training Program

Course overview

This interactive program focuses on the mediation of family matters with an emphasis on divorce AND meets the training requirements for Florida Supreme Court Certification as a Family Mediator. The program will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of mediation in theory and practice, as well as the essential conflict management skills necessary to mediate in other settings. It is appropriate for mental health professionals who want to (a) mediate divorces, paternity cases, and other family disputes, (b) mediate in the workplace, with elders and their adult children, and in a variety of other settings, (c) help their clients better navigate divorce and relationship break-down, (d) work as Parenting Coordinators, Custody Evaluators, Guardians ad Litem (GAL), or Divorce Coaches.
