The purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with the physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that happen with aging. The myths and facts about aging, common changes experienced in the aging process, and the purpose and function of each body system are presented. The course engages learners in how to assist older adults as the aging process occurs.
