This 2-hours credit course is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. More than a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, information surrounding the treatment of COVID-19 is being published at rapid rates. Often preprint studies are made available prior to peer review and any erroneous data can lead to confusion or misinformation for providers. Additionally, clinical trials regarding COVID-19 therapy may have mixed results, thus leading to uncertainty of the utility of a certain agent. At a time when a plethora of information is available, clinicians need to be knowledgeable and accurate on an illness that affects the entire population. Gaps in clinical practice will continue to exist if ongoing and current information is not reviewed regularly. This activity will review the latest studies and clinical trials surrounding injectable therapeutic options to combat COVID-19. The goal is to provide information for clinicians to confidently select and discuss the most appropriate COVID-19 therapeutic options including COVID-19 vaccines, remdesivir, IL-6 inhibitors, and monoclonal antibodies. This self-paced course is available online through any device with internet access. There are unlimited test attempts and no time limit for completion.
