Course overview

Participants will be able to use Hays approach to identify how belonging to various dominant or minority groups can impact their own cultural awareness, will be able to describe historical knowledge of how LGBTQ individuals, clients with low income, and religious minorities have struggled with oppression and discrimination, will be able to assess the groups which are the focus of this course, and will be able to name strength based interventions which are culturally adapted to each of the groups which are the focus of this course.
