Course overview

There have been many clinical trials on Medical Marijuana. Articles, pro and con, have been published on cannabis and other cannabinoids in the treatment or management of a wide range of diseases and conditions. This course will cover different methods of treatment using Marijuana for medical purposes. It will also provide the student with information about what the treatments will do to the patient. Also discussed will be a comparison between different methods of medicinal usage, and the side effects of the different methods of infusion to the patient. This course is designed for physicians, nurses, physician assistants, social workers, therapists, and counselors who are responsible for medical care of a patient and who are candidates for the therapeutic use of medical marijuana or other cannabinoids.
