Course overview

This course explores the difference between colonization and anti-colonialism, and defines systems that support it. The impacts of anti-colonial theory in therapy when working with Black people with intersectional social identities are discussed and insight around where to begin to dismantle and uproot micro and macro level systems of colonialism within our institutions is explored. Lastly this course identifies what needs to take place in order to uphold an anti-colonial framework.
