Course overview

This course serves as a good foundation course to helping the acupuncturist\\ understand the concept of Dit da, and to gain a good set of foundational tools that includes applied back pain diagnostic skills, dit da hand techniques, herbs and formulas for trauma, as well as the preferred Tung Acupuncture points to use. Course is applicable for both the advanced as well as the beginner acupuncture practitioner. Dr. Rene Ng (DACM, AP, L.Ac), is a highly regarded and regular speaker at FSOMA conferences. He is the author of consumer articles that are frequently and regularly published by national wellness publications. Board certified in Tung Acupuncture with over 12 years experience with the system. Specialties include trauma, injuries, MS and autoimmune diseases, and cancer care. He is a four time winner of Sarasota Favorite Acupuncture Physician award and 2019 recipient of the coveted Reader's Choice First Place Winner for Best in Acupuncture award by Sarasota Herald Tribune. Born in Macao, China, he has been involved with Chinese Medicine for over 30 years. While in China, Rene began training in the seventies in classical Dit Da and Tui Na therapeutic bodywork which was used extensively in the treatment of injuries and trauma. Rene is the primary acupuncturist at the Chinese Medical Solutions Acupuncture and Healing Center, and specializes in Cancer/MS care, Trauma, Allergies, Infertility, Stress management, Insomnia, and general internal medicine.
