Usage and Contraindication of Moxa

Course overview

The course will discuss different types of moxa and the materials used in moxa. The course will introduce points used for heavenly moxa, diseases treated by heavenly moxa, contradiction of heavenly moxa and dog day sticker (San Fu Tie). This course will present diseases treated effectively by moxa, disease prevention by using moxa and moxa points used for health maintenance. This course will also present acupoints contraindicated for moxa in different conditions, times and climates contraindicated for moxa, symptoms and syndromes contraindicated for moxa, body areas contraindicated for moxa and medical accidents caused by moxa.
