The Rehabilitation Concepts and Health Promotion case management domain consists of information related to clients' physical and occupational health and functioning. Fundamental knowledge includes vocational and disability concepts, case management and care processes, and resources. Case managers use these essential concepts in the rehabilitation, disability, and workers' compensation settings. This domain also covers the different types of rehabilitation, the use of durable medical equipment (DME) and assistive devices for rehabilitation and vocational purposes, and rehabilitation and workers' compensation regulations. This course will provide professional nurses with knowledge regarding rehabilitation concepts and health promotion strategies. The goal of this course is to prepare nurses to sit for the Case Manager Certification (CCM) Examination.
