Concepts of teamwork are a fundamental component of delegation. It is essential to achieve excellence in teamwork through shared leadership, delegation, and participatory supervision. Learn how to approach delegation in a wise and informed manner and to gain strategies for effectively delegating to team members as appropriate. Methods to help your preceptee develop delegation skills are presented in this course. The goal of this course is to equip nurses in the ambulatory care setting with knowledge associated with the principles of delegation and the role teamwork plays in effective delegation.
