COVID-19: Critical Care Bedside and Operational Lessons

Course overview

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact patients across the globe. The virus has demanded flexibility from the healthcare team and the hospital infrastructure. For patients diagnosed with COVID-19, timely assessment and interventions are crucial for survival outcomes. Frontline workers such as nurses and respiratory therapists (RTs) play a crucial role in managing the complications related to COVID-19. This course will focus on what we currently know about the pandemic, including lessons learned from a clinical and operations perspective. This course discusses the use of a drug, device, or product for purposes not approved by the FDA (off-label).
