Acupuncture Point Combinations and the Eight Extraordinary Vessels: Regulating Emotions, Stress and Mental Health
Tracking # 20-780140
Course overview
Welcome to part 2 of the acupuncture point combination series, which takes you on a journey through the Eight Extraordinary Vessels Qi Jing Ba Mai. These vessels are typically not taught thoroughly at Chinese medicine institutions and so it became clear to me that I needed to write a course that could access as many students and practitioners of our art as possible. The Eight Extraordinary Vessels are a fascinating part of Chinese medicine and treatment. They were first mentioned in the Spiritual Pivot Ling Shu which was written over 2000 years ago. Since then they have been discussed sporadically, until recently, with an explosion of new content on the Eight Extraordinary Vessels. There is so much to learn about the Eight Extraordinary Vessels and this webinar series will include a brief overview of the Vessels and their function, along with when or how to use them. This will be followed up with each of the Vessels being analysed individually. Whilst that is amazing, the kicker is that this webinar series also gives you treatment tools to practically apply to each of the Vessels. These are acupuncture point combinations which are designed to target specific Vessels in the treatment of emotions, stress and mental health. That is not all because there are also acupuncture point combinations for multiple organ disharmonies, genetic asthma or eczema, irritable bowel syndrome, neck pain with headaches, low back pain with sciatica, infertility, Heat above with Cold or Damp below, hemiplegia, alcoholism and senile dementia.
