Course overview
The purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with end of life topics. This course engages the learner in understanding experiences that can either positively or negatively influence a residents end of life experience including perceptions, personal preparation, values and beliefs are discussed. Ways caregiver prejudice and influence can alter a residents end of life experience is discussed. And the importance of culture, relationships, and caring for the bereaved is explored.
