Distinguishing Fungal Pathogens, Nonpathogens, and Opportunists
Tracking # 20-856255
Course overview
This module reviews common opportunistic fungi that the mycologist may encounter on a daily basis in the mycology lab. Because there are so many opportunistic fungi, this module is limited to the most common ones. It is vital to be able to recognize opportunistic fungi and differentiate them from common laboratory contaminants and from common pathogenic (disease-causing) fungi.
