Course overview

Coronavirus disease 2019, found to infect animal species, has recently been discovered to infect humans and has proven to be potentially serious and deadly. While theories exist of how the virus was transmitted from animals to humans, the current available research is inconclusive. How COVID-19 adapted to infect humans remains unknown, and the origins of this disease continues to be studied to determine the evolution of COVID-19 worldwide and how virus exposure can affect whole populations, leading to a pandemic. No Test Required!
