Course overview

This course examines the internalizing and externalizing behaviors among runway and homeless youth with substance abuse. It includes: family factors, externalizing and internalizing problems, substance abuse and comorbidity, and interventions. The study had 3 treatment arms Motivational Interviewing, the Community Reinforcement Approach, or ( Ecologically-Based Family Therapy (EBFT) vs treatment as usual.
