Course overview

This activity helps physicians across specialties provide optimal evidence-based care for patients with cognitive impairments related to Alzheimers Disease (AD). The activity describes the definitions, differential diagnosis, and risk factors for AD and other forms of dementia, provides guidance about screening and evaluation, and summarizes current evidence for both non-pharmacological and pharmacological management of cognitive impairment and behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).
