Course overview

Your patients and their caregivers are the most important team members in the rehabilitation process. Their full engagement is critical for your patient to achieve their functional goals after neurological injury. In this course, you will learn how to maximize the engagement of your patients and caregivers to support and reinforce your therapy interventions to maximize the dose and intensity of therapy your patient receives to help achieve the patient's goals for recovery. The concepts of health literacy, individualized training, and patient engagement to achieve the optimal dose of therapy are discussed.
