Power of Home Summit

Course overview

The Power of Home Summit is a 5-day virtual event for occupational therapists, physical therapists, contractors, realtors, rehabbers, architects, social workers, and any other healthcare or housing professional interested in keeping people happy, healthy, and thriving at home. The summit was born out of the realization that we must do more to build interprofessional collaboration to better serve people of all abilities across the lifespan with their housing needs. The goal of the summit is threefold: 1. To empower occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to utilize their knowledge and skill set to lead change and create impact within the housing indsutry. 2. To educate clinical OTs on cutting edge products and services available to assist in keeping their clients/patients at home. 3. To equip students and professionals with language and knowledge needed to advocate for universal design principles.
