Yoga and Science in the Back - SOD

Course overview

Many of our patients suffer from Low Back Pain. As health care and wellness professionals we have many tools to address this diagnosis from manual therapy, strengthening exercises, stretching techniques, kinesiotherapy and more. However, despite our application of these techniques, many of our patients and clients continue to suffer from chronic back issues. Yoga and Science in Back Pain Care will review common causes of low back pain which can be addressed through yoga techniques. You will learn how to integrate the practices of breath, awareness and alignment to improve your client's symptoms and treat the cause at the root. Even if you are not a student of yoga, you will learn how to incorporate these techniques in a user friendly way into your treatment plan.
