Course overview
Educational Objectives: To recognize that there are current limitations for the early diagnosis of prostate cancer. To highlight that the there are issues with the validity of the prostate specific antigen, the most commonly used test in prostate cancer. The show that the amino acid sarcosine has been proposed as a potential biomarker, complementary to the prostate specific antigen to improve the detection of prostate cancer.
