Course overview

The Shoulder is one of the most complex, mobile, and often injured joints in the body. With 5 articulations which determine mobility, stability and strength, it is easy to see why the shoulder girdle can become a challenge whether you are an elite athlete, your job depends on lifting or reaching or you just want to throw a ball or swim a few laps. In this webinar we will discuss how to briefly assess the 5 joints of the shoulder girdle complex and suggest a hierarchy with regards to treatment and rehab exercises. Followed by an assessment of the fascial LINKS to the cervical, thoracic and sternum/rib cage. Finally, we will illustrate the importance of specific anatomy and how to improve patient/athlete outcomes.
