Course overview

Vestibular physical therapists are in a unique position to leverage their knowledge and skills to optimize diagnosis and treatment for patients presenting with dizziness/vertigo. The ED and Acute Care setting presents the opportunity for assessment and treatment of acute presentations of dizziness/vertigo, which the speaker utilizes to impart knowledge and skills for working with people who have vestibular system pathology. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA.
