Course overview

There will be times in your Community when a resident needs to be transported to and from an appointment or event. There may also be off-site activities that the residents have an opportunity to enjoy. In each case, there are safety and procedure standards to follow in order to have a safe and enjoyable trip. This course will cover proper vehicle preparation and helpful tips to prepare the resident physically and mentally for his/her day out. Additionally we will provide techniques to insure proper pick-up and drop-off of the resident.
