Course overview
This purpose of this course is to familiarize the learner with how to create a person- centered care plan for someone living with dementia. Information about person-center care theories and concepts, behavioral communication of distress, and advance care planning for end-of-life care is presented. The course engages the learner in learning why person-centered goals, needs, preferences, and routines are critical to the development of a care plan.
