Course overview

Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) is a common condition that responds well to physical therapy. After taking this course, physical therapy professionals will be able to understand the anatomical and biomechanical foundations of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and identify factors that contribute to TMD. Common clinical presentations are discussed in combination with case studies and examples of appropriate documentation to justify the need for rehabilitation therapy services.
