Lymphatic Massage

Course overview

This workshop is focus on hands-on work on the full body lymphatic system. The history and theory will be explained and discussed. The majority of the workshop is focused on the techniques learned in class and how to perform a full body lymphatic massage including the face and neck. This work is very different from all the massage therapy works because the technique is very light and requires a lot of concentration to be effective with the therapy. Students will learn how to work with appropriate pressure, locations, positioning on the table, and various ways of draping the client. The conditions in all the stages of edema and the benefits of this type of massage therapy will be discussed.
