In this 2-hour course, you will learn strategies, tools, principles, and tactics for preventing compassion fatigue, recognizing it, and overcoming it. This course is intended for veterinary professionals of all roles and will cover the basics of compassion fatigue along with specific strategies for combating compassion fatigue. The first half of the course features mental health professional Dr. Barry Feldman, and the second half of the course is a discussion between Dr. Feldman, Dr. Hawley (DVM), and Renee Machel (veterinary technician). This course is going to provide you with much of what is needed to cultivate and maintain a life and veterinary career that is free of compassion fatigue!
