Course overview

Federal regulations require that facilities provide an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each individual. Activity planning should be person-centered with facility staff identifying what is important to each resident with regard to daily routines and preferred activities. This educational activity will explore the purpose and benefits of a person-centered activities program as well as identifying when activities should be modified.
