Clinical Supervision - Florida Board Qualified Supervisors

Course overview

This course meets the criteria established in rule 64B4-6.004, Florida Administrative Code. The course covers changes to Florida laws and rules relating to Interns and Supervisors; various electronic delivery systems for supervision and methods for ensuring confidentiality; ethical, legal and regulatory issues of supervision, including documentation of the supervisory sessions; effective supervision models; challenges in supervision; how cultural issues can affect the supervisory relationship; accountability of both the supervisor and the intern in the supervisory relationship; and the business aspect of supervision. Upon this course completion, students will earn four hours of continuing education.
