Florida Laws and Rules: Updates for Clinical Practice

Course overview

This video-rich 3 hr. required course for 491 Board licensees (each 3rd biennium) informs and reviews recent changes to FS CH 456, FS CH 491, and F.A.C., 64B4 (Rule). Participants will establish and maintain knowledge of laws and rules regulating practitioners under the Department of Health, the 491 Board, and Florida Administrative Code. To enhance professional practice proficiencies, changes come alive through a case study and telehealth delivery methods, case discussions with learning tools, and hands-on learning to conduct basic updates to the Florida Statutes and the Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C., 64B4). Additional resources (documents, tables, and bibliography) are also included.
