Course overview

The goal of this webinar is to introduce and review techniques that help reduce and/or eliminate fear, anxiety and stress during routine equine veterinary procedures. Creating the most positive experience for the horse, client, veterinarian, and veterinary assistants will help reduce equine distress, increase safety, and set up for future success. The program will also discuss the role of equine behaviorists for educating about behavior modification techniques based on principles of learning that can be used with horses who are extremely fearful or fractious.
